Aim High Remote Instalation or giving permissions for staff

We have recently upgraded our software for Aim High on the server, which now requires us to upgrade teh client software. We have spoken to the company (4csoftware) and they said that all staff needed permissions to be able to install this upgrade, is there any way we can give staff these permissions via GPO just for this peice of software to prevent us going round each computer manually. Anothe ralternativly is to remote deploy Aim High, just unsure where to start. Help is much appreciated and Thanks in advance

You need to talk to the company that make the software and ask for an msi and you might also ask if there is a program to cutomize installs that creates mst file.

Having run Aim High before and worked with 4c software on it, that may be easier said than done We have now abandoned this software as the restrictions on comment banks were troublesome, and it's a pain to get data back into assessment manager. We used the 'briefcase' in a way it was not apparently designed to be used....well, if it doesn't allow teachers to take the reports home and work on them, I wasn't sure what it was designed for! I guess it's OK if you're a smaller school.

 

Out of interest, how do you allow SIMS upgrades? Can you not allow Aim High upgrades in the same way?
