HP2015n Required for purchase

Hi all,

Just wondered if anyone has a supplier who could furnish us with a HP2015n at a good price.

 

Reason I ask is that we like this model and have them all round the school and they just work perfectly, very low maintenance and running costs.

 

They have been discontinued I know but someone will have some stock which they will want to get rid of at a fair price.

I haven't been able to locate one in trying recently, but then I had one fail and it had to go back to HP for repair (though they were first class sorting it). Apparently this model has a problem with the formatter board, failure rates seem quite high. It may be worth going for a slightly newer revision, just to reduce the chances.

We have had a few with formatter board problems, although all ours were out of warranty when it happened, that's what you get when you order 3 pallets full and then they are sat in the store for months! I recommend the P2055's found them to be loads better.

The P2015's are discontinued. The P2055's are the replacement model in the UK AFAIK.

Think we might have a second hand one we're looking to get rid of - if you want to make me an offer. We recently went to a managed solution - so have about 30 printers to get rid of. I'm offering them to the staff next week - but if there's anyone on here who's interested - let me know and I'll post a list of whats left. We're in Northampton by the way.

I bought a pair ages ago from ict-direct.co.uk - John might be able to source more, he is definitely worth a call! PS. If you're reading John, the server went down a treat it seems!
