Exams software, TCP Ports issue

I seem to remember when I installed Promissor ESMServer that It wouldn't run on the same server as QCA Testing due to them using the same ports. Is this still the case does anyone have them running on the same box?

Did you change exam boards I thought you had no choice about what software you use?

I'm currently cursing my way through a test QCA install to see if the problem is what I think it is (undocumented dependencies) and you can change the default ports on the Linux install at least. The promissor server is on an archived vm and I can't remember what it used.

 

Since the QCA server can be changed (and creates a config file for workstations to use) that'd probably be your best bet.
