Just remember the frequencies VHF doesn't give you so many available as UHF.

We've got 3 VHF ones with the possibility of adding another 2 to the setup.

are always good. They do professional kit for hire. We've always used thim in the past. But then can get a bit expensive and we found that we could only afford to hire the kit for the week of the actual performance making technical run throughs mighty difficult!

I know this is off subject, but I recently vought a sennheiser wireless system for my guitar, and it's great!! something like 1400UHF frequencies, and it automatically finds a free one if it picks up interference.

Sorry, but it's great, (and you can make the display on the bodypack display anything you want!)

You are unlikely to get 7 "licence exempt" mics. You can if you mix VHF & UHF systems, but you would be better off with a planned set of UHF systems. Unless one of the schools represented here has a big theatre used to stage musicals, you may well have to hire some to get the licence. The licence is held by the hire co. and they just give to a sheet detailing their licence.

@Chris. Only a small section of those 1400 are in the exempt band. Use the others at your peril!

The first de-reg frequency used is 863.100 and the last 864.900 to allow for the channels 200kHz bandwidth.
