danIT Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 This week I attended the MoodleMoot at Lougborough, I took lots of notes and tweeted my twitter off as well as others tweeting at the event. I've now got lots of links stored in various places but i want to collate them in once place and preferably it be web based. I've looked at a number of options, such as wiki, link directory script, image galleries etc but how would you suggest storing the following: Presentations (Slideshare/powerpoint) Links Pictures Tweets Any ideas appreciated!

Russ Now that site looks like a lifesaver for me. I'm forever taking notes and unless I've taken them down in my main note book the bits of paper + other things always end up lost
Tallwood_6 Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 If only i knew there was a service like that long ago.
danIT Posted April 11, 2009 Author Posted April 11, 2009 Russ thats perfect, really like this feature: "BONUS: If you drag, attach, or email an image into your account that contains printed or handwritten text, we'll make it searchable. Just sync it and our servers will start working their magic."
russdev Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 One down point once you start using it you realise how useful it is and then run out of bandwidth and have to buy the pro service. I for example include everything so got all the show notes from manager tools podcast in it in notebook, cooking notebook then main notebook to keep rest of info. Also if follow GTD process then I set default notebook to be called Inbox and then move it from there to another notebook. Also the thing I am about to start doing with it is is use it to store business cards in I scan them in and store in a notebook on its own. Russ

Russ Thanks Russ I remember this when you first mentioned it a while ago (1 year plus), but never had time to play with it. Now is as good a time as ever.
russdev Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 Just got better as well now can link evernote with twitter. Evernote Blog » Blog Archive » Evernote + Twitter = Instant Memories I can know send a text msg to twitter (can be direct if don't want to 'spam' your twitter feed) and goes into my ever note. Russ
