i have just started working at a school and they use Eclipse 2

when i try and log in to add new books to the system i cant because i dont know the password

 

when the old librarian left one of the puipls in the school was told the password and then it got changed now i have come into the school and i cannot do anything till i can log in

 

does anyone have any idea on how the librarian password can be changed

I would suggest giving Microlib a call, they are normally good support wise. I'm sure there must be some backdoor into it for this kind of scenario.

They might be willing to help you out if they can provide a solution over the phone and not actually have to do any work to your database or anything? I'm not sure how they work. Other than that I guess you could ask somebody who does have a contract to ask or renew yours. Going to be far easier than reinstalling!

Any change of somone PM'ing me the default admin password for Eclipse.net as well, we seem to of locked our selves out and the Librarian is away for the next few weeks.

Hi Guys,

Here we are a year or two on and have got the same problem i.e. need default p/w. Trying to reconnect to d/b but passwords not working. Tech who did original install has moved on but management want d/b reconnected. Any chance of a PM?

Are you able to contact MLS Support? They can tell you how to reset it. Or their is an article on their support site about how to do it.
