" * 719 racks

* 63,272 machines

* 126,544 CPUs

* 253 THz of processing power

* 126,544 GB (approx. 123.58 TB) of RAM

Hmm.. but Google server the whole world and QCA a bunch of UK schools. Still, even then - the DPS communicates with the local APS so I wouldn't have thought it'd be more technically difficult to run a web-based AJAXed interface.

With google's email for schools then an online office suite which will presumably come in a box that sita on your network... they're set to take over the world!

while going off topic web would nerver work due to amount of data transfer to network slow now imagine what would be like with web front. Main thing being that in google spreadsheet only need to record what has changed and keep last few data transfers qca have got to keep lot.

web nevere going to work in 10000 years

anyway to go back on topic when google presentation due out :)

Sent a week or so ago (when it was first mentioned on slashdot) from my gmail account.

Maybe they ignored requests on that day due to high volume of "just curious" people coming from slashdot?
