Has any one ever seen google doing this on they jouruneys?

 

I havent but what been funny, I just imagined that if google had the same van as the "A-Team" with the google logo on it that made me laugh thou how I thought of that, hmm possible "Mr-T" driving too lol.

the only problem is that some of the number plates are blurred out others are not which in my opuion not good.

I happened to stumble across it last night looking for a hotel near st pancras train station on google maps, its pretty cool. hadn't seen it before, was handy to follow the directions to it in person before we do the walk itself. Good old Google! :-)

I've seen them!

 

They were parked in the McDonalds accross the road from my old office about a year ago.

Was a dark van with "Google" on the side with a strange mounted camera unit on top.

I see what you saying but since google can be accesed, someone / a criminal can see if they spot a car then change the numberplate occuring without even going to any of those areas, or even if they dont have contacts there

Yes - I waved at the chap in the Google van as he was driving around Norwich. I seem to have been photoshopped out of the final footage, though.
