Get a TechNet Plus subscription and get all of the kits for free, as well as free copies (not time limited) of all Microsoft OS, Office products and beta versions. I droll every month when the new DVD drop through the door.

P.S. ensure you get the DVD version as the CD edition tends to balloon out of control afetr 5 months!

I haven't renewed my Technet subs for a while but the last time I did, it was just over £100 for a single-server subscription (special education rate).

That was just the standard edition of technet but it still gets you all the resource kits, updates, documentation, etc.

It may have been a special offer but I remember the dude on the phone (probably speaking from the other side of the world) saying that it was an education price. I would recommend that you telephone them.

Just a thought but maybe we could put a letter together saying how wonderful MS is and that we at EduGeek love ALL their products. That way they would maybe like to consider giving us preferential pricing on Technet.

We get TechNet Plus. They don't give educational discount on that.

That's cos they assume that people that can afford to consider buying it don't need a discount!
