or whatever..

I want to buy a couple of printers from Ebuyer. Rang to make sure i could setup and account, got put through to 3 different people only for the 3rd person to say "well you can set up the account on the website..." well im aware of this but i can only pay by invoice. Oh well you need to do this this and this...none of which has made any sense. He said something about it taking 5 days to setup.

How do i get the ball rolling? Cant find anywhere on the site which apparently i can print out a form from.

Thanks...

lol that's very true Simon.

It's these bloody Epson C1100N's. I'm after 2. I think you previously quoted £265.00+vat . Ebuyer does £174.52ex vat. *blows raspberry* :)

Thanks!

Now you know that makes sense - the added advantage of knowing that should there be any issues you will get support from a forum sponsor. :D

Since eBuyer changed the goal posts about 3 times in the space of a six month period I can't recommend enough that you don't bother with trying to get a business account with them.

I got one school setup with them thanks to a guy called Martin Tune (not sure if he works there anymore) and then 2 months later a second school started the process after a lot of cajoling. It took them another month or more of phone calls, different stories from different sales people, etc... before we realised that the education account managers had gone and everything had been handed back to the business team who seem very reluctant to deal with schools.

For my money and the time you'd waste with eBuyer, talk to some of the companies advertising on here because eBuyer simply do not want the business anymore.

Nope :(

Then forgot Ebuyer, you'll need to post a cheque wait for it to clear, then they'll post your stuff... so 30 days (or at least it was that long last time I tried).

Personally never had a problem with e-buyer.

Spent tens of thousands with them whilst at last school. All on my credit card then claimed it back - sigh, think of the airmiles ;)

Eventually school got a credit card and then started a business account, still had no problems.

Not used them for a while apart from personal purchases.

They did allow you to order and pay on account, i don't think they ever asked for a cleared cheque up front. Maybe as we had the credit card too.

They have great prices, but sometimes i just used them as a reference and then got a VAR, or someone like CPLTD to match or beat the quote! Then you get the best of both worlds.

Looks like you've got a similar deal now, so you're good to go :D
