netadmin Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 I found Edugeek one time when I was using Google to try to find a solution to a server issue. One of the top search results was for a topic on the Edugeek forum.

I've found spreading the word has been different for many people, some just word of mouth, others have used Edugeek in exemplar solutions on other forums etc and as such it's just grown and grown! I don't know much about the US education system etc but I wonder whether we face the same kind of problems day in day out which could help draw some comfort for all concerned parties and learn new ways of handling issues.

Well, the problem that brings me here today is certainly shared across all geographic and political boundaries. It's a problem installing network printers for all users on lab computers. It's probably not a common problem outside of education institutions.

ADMaster Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 Someone has done some thread necromancy. I as all the others, found it by searching for technical issues. I think it was Mimio, so that is education specific. Educational IT has its own unique challenges no matter the educational system.
