Yes, it's been down for a short while now.

 

Problems earlier in the week with the .co.uk left me using the .nl and polishing up on my dutch.

No Google is now back only down for a short while.

Google has been broken for me ever since they started doing silly things when you search for something in quotes e.g. "a-b".

In that case use yahoo search ( as some time back ) didnt yahoo get to use googles search technology or someit ?

Perhaps a contingency ought to be developed if Google keeps having issues (both on Saturdays though luckily!) - the Google homepage changed to submit to Yahoo search - teachers probably wouldn't notice if you could replace all the logos on the search results!
