Hecate Posted May 24, 2006 Posted May 24, 2006 We are looking at wireless installation and I would be grateful for any recommendations (or bad experiences) for suppliers in Cumbria or N Lancs areas
indie Posted May 24, 2006 Posted May 24, 2006 Not sure if they do installations but i've bought cable and antenna's from Solwise, they're based in Hull and we're excellent!
wesleyw Posted May 24, 2006 Posted May 24, 2006 I'm looking for a company in the west midlands which specialises in Wireless Installs - I was going to use TCPIP but they have recently folded. Any ideas? Wes

CM786 Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 http://www.cdnnetworks.com/ Don Wilson 07976931007 I have used CDN Netoworks for wireless installs, VPN links and interactive whiteboards. All work is carried out by the companies own installers and not sub-contracted out, so it is top noch. Don (and his partner) Nigal have over 25 years of experience in networking and wireless kit and really know their stuff and are easy to get hold of, unlike the big boys. Give Don a ring and he will sort you out. They always try to beat other quotes, but for quality installations and setup, it is always worth paying just that bit extra. (And...No I'm not on commission! )
Ric_ Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 I bought my Bluesocket gear off Oliis Solutions (speak to Bobby on 0845 456 8556). I got a gerat deal by buying it as a bundle. They do other gear, of course, too. I'm slowly implementing mine so I am installing it myself - hence I don't know about their setup. My cabler of choice is Ampec (based in Chorley). I don't have the number to hand but their work is of an excellent standard, it's cheap and they fluke test ALL the points that they fit.
ChrisH Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 I will second Rics recommendation of Ampec very good prices and excellent quality of work.
