There was me expecting the entire discography of Status Quo or coldplay...

 

I didn't get it not only did most of the songs not sound right, even originally, they didn't even fit to the song

Most of the songs in the same key to start with (a few were changed slightly) so it can be quite easy to do ... but the 4 chord problem keeps coming back again ... and again ...

 

Anyone remember Hear'Say and their debut that sounded so familiar? George Michael's Waiting For That Day ... I remember singing the intro to Take A Walk On The Wild Side to it ...

There's a difference to an intro and singing a completely different song over the top of an intro.

 

don't listen much to the radio anymore ( it's all talk and no music... ), but palm.fm had a two songs that they mashed together, some were incredibly bad, in the sense of how I found half of the above video, some were done so well that you didn't even notice the song had changed to a completely different one. I can't think of any they mashed together anymore...

The point is that in the background are the same 4 chords - but it isn't really fair as those particular 4 chords cover most of the major scales, so most things would fit to it if you really try.

The first 10 or so are fine and then it all goes a bit off
