Ghosting/shadow on Win XP

Please help

 

I have an admin user who has a dual screen setup with Nvedia graphics card.

 

For some reason she called me to ask if I could sort the issue out. so had a look in the settings, nothing obvious, reinstalled the driver, rebooted and it is still there.

 

I tried to screen shot it, but it didn't work, only way to discribe it, is the test appears to the right of the actual text as a shadow on the same line.

 

this appears on the RM CC3 login box too so isn't profile specific.

 

Only other solution is a rebuild but as its an Admin user, you can understand their PC is their life!!

Unplug one of the displays and see if it clears the other image up. Had this problem due to the signal being lost when displayed with 2 outputs. It could be faulty cable(try replacing with a spare 1, or "borrow" one form another computer) or you may need to buy a better quality splitter which also has its own power to boost the signal to 2 sources.
