Griffo Posted January 26, 2009 Report Posted January 26, 2009 I currently have sitting on my desk a Panasonic PT-LC55E projector. It usually lives in one of the english classrooms and is ceiling mounted. It now will only run for about 10 seconds and will then switch off and the "LAMP" led will start flashing. But i have found that with it the normal way up sitting on the desk it runs fine and has been for the last hour or so... WHY??? and has anyone got a manual in PDF format that they would be willing to email me? I have tried on the panasonic website and the PDF seems to be corrupt
pscott Posted January 26, 2009 Report Posted January 26, 2009 If mounted on a bracket when in room upside down, does the bracket screw in, ifso is it possible they were overtightened?
greatone Posted January 26, 2009 Report Posted January 26, 2009 Try this link: PT-LC55E It's from the Australian site so may help with the upside down problem as well!
Griffo Posted January 26, 2009 Author Report Posted January 26, 2009 Yeah it has screw in fixings but they were not all that tight, no damage anyway @greatone Yep tried that one too had it has the same problem, it looks like half the manual is missing on both The lamp has apprx 550 hrs of life left in it according to the timer. I just need to find out if it is a problem with the lamp or projector itself. If it is the lamp than we will get a new one, but i dont want to order a lamp only to find it is the projector at fault
Griffo Posted January 26, 2009 Author Report Posted January 26, 2009 Finally managed to get a readable copy of the manual... ...looks like it may be fudged, contact the panasonic repair centre is the suggested fix
