Hacksawbob Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 Hi, We have just purchased a C2800n epson laser got a good review off "computer shopper of all places! (also has print management software but I haven't tested yet. Anyway, It has the holy grail of school printing built right in there to the print driver watermark with username/computername/date/time/shoe size etc. I can set this up on the server print driver and it works a treat. But when users log in, (desktop authority maps the prints to the print server) the print driver they get is a blank default one with out all my lovely settings, how do I force the print driver the users get to be my version? Ta. Bob
contink Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 When you make your changes are you going through: - Printer Properties - Advanced Tab - Printing Defaults... ? If you're only setting stuff up via the "Printing preferences" that would explain why it's not working or being passed on.
