vikpaw Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 @FN-GM - somebody was trying to modify it at BETT, not sure if anyone succeeded. It would be great to get it to run a script somewhere on the C drive, as then that script could v.easily be modified at will. Every now and again it tries ww.edugeek.net - does this happen for anybody else? it's because there is a delay in opening the run prompt so the first w get's lost to the ether. I get similar effects when i run vbscripts that simulate sending keyboard commands to the console. If any other process takes priority or there is a marginal delay in response then some commands go astray. It's a real pain when you are doing something and many screens are open, it's dangerous sending commands to the wrong screen and can lead to strange results! You could test it out by having a text document open when you press the button then try and click on the document immediately after pressing it. Or ALT-Tabbing.
Oops_my_bad Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 For those interested the spelling mistake is in the "sponsered by" bit Who on earth proof-reads this stuff? Russ?
