Hi,

Two of the schools i visit are looking into the possibility of using the DS console and brain training software in classrooms. I have been asked to source out quotes on the hardware and also software and i wondered if anyone on the forums may be able to point me in the direction to get the best deal. There will be a total of 60 DS consoles and also 1 game cartridge per machine. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Might be worth contacting your local Game or someone directly and asking for their advice. I don't know if Nintendo deal directly for small quantities like 60, but again an e-mail to them might point you in the right direction.

Yeah im compiling a list of the popular console retailers and gonna give them all a call and see what they can offer. I will also await your quote Simon, thankyou.

Good luck. You may struggle to get 60 consoles in one shipment.

 

We have 2 here and our EAL and SEN students love them and we are probably looking at getting some more.... probably not 60 though.

Also consider Big Brain Academy, as it has mathematical, scientific and logic problems to solve. Has an 8-player versus mode, too. Personally I prefer it to Brain Training. It is more fun to play, so would be more of a reward than playing Brain Training, too.
