Whats the best way to connect our older machines to Citrix MetaFrame.

We currently only use the MetaFrame online interface to give our students 'School@Home' access, but would like to connect some of our ageing machines to it also.

Is there a quick app that you can install straight onto a formatted disk that would allow you to connect?

How'd everyone doing it?

There's no need for Thinstation if your machines can PXE boot by themselves of course. It's well worth doing if possible. Removing the hard drive cuts down on the heat and power of the machines and they last longer as there's no moving parts.

I've tried using thinstation live cd but it keeps saying i havent put the boot floppy in, downloaded several times and on different machines

Anyone come across a similar problem?

I should have said that the image I posted is just meant to get an old non PXE complianent machine to PXE boot and isnt actually thinstation. You have to setup your TFTP server and put the appropriate thin station or which ever thin client distro you use with the appropriate configuration.

Those 2 you have mentioned are the more popular tools of choice for what you are describing. What problems are you having?
