Griffo Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 I have a Yr10 student with some coursework that she cant open It is a corrupted MS Word doc, I have tried the usual to recover it (save as html, use wordpad/notepad, open with openoffice, use word's recovery file open method, insert into another word doc) and get 3 different results. I can either not be able to open it at all; open it but with 1200 pages of pure jibberish; or open it and recover the first line only. The backup copies we have of it are all the same. Looks like it is totaly Anyone got any other suggestions or know of any free recovery software??
