has there been that many updates since sp3?

 

Why dont you slipstream all the updates into an image, then you dont have to update them individually...

 

That would be a good solution for a few months and then I would have to slipstream the new updates again. I will have to do that if I won't see SP4, but it is still to early for SP4 to come out.

Michael might be right about update rollup for XP.

That would be great if I could get it approved by my Boss :) But it will not happen :mad:

What is it about WSUS that he/she won't go for ?

 

It's a bloody marvellous system...

Once setup, you just need to authorise patches every month or so, but once this is done, you just leave the machines to get on with it themselves. It's about 10-15 minute job every month, and every machine will be kept upto the same patch level.
