localzuk Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 I have an odd issue at the moment with internet explorer 7 and powerpoint 2003. Pupils can't seem to be able to copy images from IE and then paste them into powerpoint. The copy part seems to work fine, but when they try and paste, it does the usual 'egg timer' whilst it thinks about it, then nothing happens. No image is pasted. It works in my administrator account though. And I don't think it happens all the time. Any ideas?
Michael Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 How about doing a Print Screen then cropping it? It could be proxy related, if you require authentication.
localzuk Posted December 4, 2008 Author Posted December 4, 2008 No authenticated proxies here. Also, they can right click and save - but it always saves it as a 'Windows Bitmap file' and not as the original format (jpg, gif etc...). It is a hassle, and increases the amount of junk images being stored in kids' accounts, so I would like to not have to have a workaround.
