Hi

Have setup a windows XP Pro SP1 with IIS and i have a local intranet page setup on it, i can access this fine anywhere on the network.

At the moment i access it by either typing http://(ip address) on IE or htt://(computer name).

How do i setup something on IIS so that if i type EduGeek.net on any machines on network it will redirect me to the above page???

Thanks

Hi

If you want to do that would you not be better using squid guard or dansguardian.

Just an idea.

Seems a bit extreme rather than just adding a DNS record mapping an alias to host?

If you can tell us why you want to do this... then probably we can, between us, work out the best solution! I am always wary of solving narrow problems in isolation :)
