My HOD was to produce an interactive questionaire for year 11s to fill in questions mainly relating to their GCSE. he then wants the answers to automatically save to his database

 

Is this possible??????????????????????

Questionaire does not exist yet

Database will be Microsoft access

 

What he really wants to do is stick questionaire on the network, students access it answer questions and submit it. He then wants all the information to collate in a database

I'm probably going to get chased down the road by people with flaming torches and pitchforks for suggesting this but if you're using Access to store the results, why not use the Access Database Interface Wizard within Frontpage. It won't create the prettiest page but it should be adequate for your needs once you have the database designed.

It is possible, but you have to consider whats happening server side.

 

I'm not sure about this, but I think you can do it in moodle, but you'd have to transfer the data into a database manually

The questionaire module in Moodle is a nicer implementation of the open source version [which I can't remember the name of ] - looks nicer and is easy to set up.
