FN-GM Posted November 16, 2008 Posted November 16, 2008 I should have explained more. Are they connected to the motherboard? are they IDE drives? if so are they on the same cable? If they are on the same cable is one drive set to slave?
Michael Posted November 16, 2008 Posted November 16, 2008 Do they appear in the BIOS and Explorer? If they're IDE, have you set them up as master and slave using jumper settings?

mac_shinobi Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 I don't have that problem anymore - I just have the drive carrier that I screw to the hard drive and slide it in until it clicks as I have a Mac Pro. So no forgetting of cables etc.
