What do you think you could do with this?

In was just looking around the RM site and saw this RM.com Shop: miniBus & miniBook [30 Units] Special Offer Bundle

What does everybody think of these within a school?

I'd love to give them a go but we have RM CC3 at the moment so I would have to add £50 extra per machine just for the privilege of running them on my network.

The other problem I can see is they are so small one could easily fall in to my packed lunch box and I might take it home by mistake :)

Their just the Asus eeePC's. If you do a search on the forums you will find a lot of posts about them. I think I remember a post yeterday and a lot of people mention they are using them by staff for attendance use.

Even if you are an RM school you could buy the linux version and access documents etc via Easylink if you use it or via a terminal server setup.

If you want to stay with the builtin OS without moving to windows you can use konqueror as a replacement for IE. It can open natively sites made for IE only.

Otherwise wine and ies4linux should do the job!
