SpaceGuard - Service Wont Start Please Help

Afternoon all,

 

ok so came in this morning, and noticed that the service was stuck for Sqaceguard.

 

Could not Start/Restart/Stop

 

So rebooted server - No Change

Repaired Software/Rebooted again - No Change

 

I have run out of idea's now.. here is the error message and error log.

 

Does anyone have any idea's they could throw at me.. or is it going to be a matter of uninstalling and re-installing it.

Not familiar with Spaceguard but if it runs as a normal service try resetting the logon account for it or swap it to local system account.

Also try re-registering the service using run - > regsvr32 (servicename/exe name)

 

Again all assuming its a system service?

 

Also check the RPC service is running too

Ok i gave to local system account the authority to run the server instead of a user as it was before, i also started the RPC Service as that was not running, restarted the server and still the Spaceguard service fails to run and comes up with the same error message.

 

I can re-register the service.. well i could but does anyone know the DLL used. ?
