Change background colour...

i am using the default blue template need to change the background from white to yellow.

 

i have been into template manager and edited the template_css.css

 

}

 

body.contentpane{

text-align: left;

background-color: #ffffff;

}

 

i have changed the #ffffff to #aaa and saved the file.. but nothing happend.. am i changing it in the wrong location??

 

i just want all the whitespace changed to yellow..
