GrumbleDook Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 Ok ... would members accept a bulk PM for notifications of events that we feel are of interest? That way, if you have the pop up thingy on when there is a new PM every time you visit the site it will tell you if you have a new message. I would also recommend you add the RSS feed to the news section to your browser or news aggragator. This also has information about events. You can also bookmark the conference site (http://www.edugeekconference.net) which will have information.

Ric_ Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 We sent an email newsletter to ALL members about it - not just those subscribed to the newsletter! We even apologised for sending it to those people who had opted out of the newsletter! Seriously though, it's worth keeping an eye on http://www.edugeekconference.net anyway because there should be info on workshops and other goodies appearing there too
tarquel Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 I've had a look online and I havent had much luck lol Anyone know of a hotel/B&B near the Rochdale train station at all? Can I get a lift to the conf from there at all? Cheers Nath
SimpleSi Posted April 10, 2006 Author Posted April 10, 2006 I don't have any emails from Edugeek - what date was it sent? regards Simon
Ric_ Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 @SimpleSi: Another newsletter was sent to all members (not just those registered for the newsletter). It should have been received yesturday. There is a chance that there is a problem with the module - I currently suspect spam filters. The Beta and Newsletter teams are looking into this. I apologise for the inconvenience caused.
