Sylv3r Posted September 8, 2008 Posted September 8, 2008 Just received an e-mail about this site. MyRevisionPlan It looks quite useful from what I have seen on the demo, has anybody looked at / used this in their schools? It says its free but I am wondering if there is a catch somewhere. Thanks 3
EduTech Posted September 8, 2008 Posted September 8, 2008 No i have never head of this before.. but thanks i think i will pass this on to some of the Area Leaders they might find it useful Thanks James.
mrtechsystems Posted September 8, 2008 Posted September 8, 2008 Nice link Free mmmmm Might be a catch to it but worth a look
EduTech Posted September 8, 2008 Posted September 8, 2008 I dunno though you know i have been looking through this evening and i cant see anything that would point out a catch.. i will be registering tomorrow so if anything just pop up i'll letcha know James.
schoolday_365 Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 Been on the site and sent an email enquiry, spoke to Elaine Gordon, she developed the site after helping her son through his G.C.S.E's, she was very helpful and there is no catch! I went through the demo and it is really simple. My eldest boy is starting to use it now to get used to it before he gets to his G.C.S.E's. When he gets his UCN number all his exam times and dates will be automatically filled in but in the meantime we are going to just run it manually. He loves the computer and this is just the incentive he needs to keep on track with his revision.
WithoutMotive Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 It does look useful but when I saw about uploading stuff from SIMS I knew I would get alsorts of problems with Data Protection.
