Sunderwood Posted September 8, 2008 Posted September 8, 2008 Hi Can someone help... I have no internet connection on some of our desktops in our IT rooms. 1) all the dns and DHCP settings are ok 2) can ping Google 3) Machines next to it are fine... Regards
Michael Posted September 8, 2008 Posted September 8, 2008 If you use a proxy, make sure it's specified within IE - Tools > Internet Options > Connections > LAN Settings I would also recommend you run gpupdate /force from the run menu, then reboot. Also if you've just installed IE7 on your workstations, this requires a restart before you can start browsing again.
strawberry Posted September 8, 2008 Posted September 8, 2008 check to see if any toolbars have been installed.
ricki Posted September 8, 2008 Posted September 8, 2008 HI If the problems are with machines with ie7 you might also need to update your adm file in your gpo. For some reason old adms donr apply correctly to ie7 Richard
