Some staff WFH and would like their calls redirected to their mobiles or home phone. How would this be achieved using 3CX?

Thanks.

Our staff that need to do this download the 3CX app and we link it to their extension.

Thought there might have been a way to do this from the admin console but I’ll try the app. Thanks.

The good thing about the app is the user has autonomy about using it when they are at home. IN my experience redirecting calls always required some IT intervention. And when using the app the user can make out going calls that come from their ext.

They could just open the web client on their laptop and use their extension from there. Would be better paired with a headset but can use laptop mic and speakers.

++ On "install the app".

Also, show them how to untick the account in the app so it doesn't ring when they're on holiday.

Just adding a +1 for this option. Even a quite cheap (£30?) pair of noise-cancelling Bluetooth headphones will work nicely as a headset for phone functionality (noise-cancelling headphones have built-in microphones in the ear-pieces, that's how the noise cancelling bit works), and the 3CX web interface is nice and easy to load up and use from home.
