Hi everyone, this is just a quick announcement to let you know that, with great reluctance, we had to put EDIT 2026 on hold until the situation in the middle east began to resolve itself. We had intended to hold the conf at the end of May in Derby.

As it began to drag on, we made the decision to postpone and informed the venue, exhibitors and speakers, as we couldn’t risk there being disruption to fuel prices and supply, which in turn would have affected attendance, not to mention many, including yourselves, would have booked hotels and train tickets etc.

Given this weeks ceasefire (very good news) we hope things do begin to get back to normal sooner rather than later, but it is now a bit late in the day to get things going again, especially as there is still the risk of things flaring up in the region again.

We are now looking to hold EDIT after the summer holidays in the same location.

Fear not though, we now intend to host the May conference online in a webinar format so you still don’t miss out. This will be coupled with some events more local to some of you over the summer.
We’ll not give the what, who and where’s for those yet, but we’ve had a lot of positive feedback on our plans from those who will be helping out.

**UPDATE**

And we are go! We have speakers, a sponsor and dates.
We'll make a more authoratative announcement once we've lined up the ducks, but we are to be running EduGeek EDIT Online from the end of May through early June.
We've got some amazing speakers and companies onboard and it's going to be a great event.
More soon :)

Just to keep you all up to speed on the conf.
We've had some faff since our decision to move it to an online format, but we are now all good to go :)
We'll be posting up more details of speakers and the schedule on Monday for the online conference which is due to begin at the end of the month, so please keep an eye out!
