Waterproof custom stickers with strong adhesive?

So for "now you have no excuse" reasons I need to source stickers to slap on staff-issued equipment with:

 

Some accompanying text.

An email address.

Two 4-digit extension phone extensions

Maybe a logo (not that fussed)

Hard to peel off.

 

And I probably need 300-400 of them.

 

Who have you used?  I'm considering the same people we use for asset tags, but the email address is a bit long to fit on an asset tag and still be readable at arms length for a range of eyesights.

We used to use Seton Labels but for some reason the ink either used to disappear or the so-called anti-peel ones started coming laminated so they were so easy to peel off!

 

Then we found Avery Labels did some 'Extra Security' labels the same size.  They are 'NoPeel' permanent labels and to pick them off would take absolutely hours!!

 

I think they work out at around £44 ex. VAT for 20 sheets of 40 (800 labels in total) - we just print out asset tags on them through a laser printer and have not had a problem with them and we've been using them for 3-4 years now.  Saved so much money and they're better for us than the previous labels we used.

We put our Trust logo on them, barcode, asset number (linked to the barcode) and two strapline/mottos that the trust has along with the Trust name and postcode.

This is really useful to know!

 

We have no-peel asset tags from Parago, that flake instead of peel when picked at, but I would short of recommending them as they weren't cheap. These stickers could be good for replacing the odd tag the kids have managed to ruin.

You could use a QR code to offload information that would end up too small to fit.

My use case is allegedly semi-functional adults who don't open tickets (or pick up the phone) for things directly affecting them and expect (or hope) that the school office might open a ticket on their behalf by psychically picking up their problem from three buildings over.

 

It needs to be simple enough that a more responsible 6yr old could get fed up with their teacher whining, pick up the phone and call us because they'd like to get back to their lesson about elephants.

We also switched to the Avery L6145 labels, because Seton's were £1 each, and that was a few years ago! The students do pick at them, and the toner can wear off with repeated abrasion (we have them underneath laptops as asset tags).

They pick at them here too but as only very tiny bits come off (touch wood) we have yet to see any that have got as far as the asset number and/or barcode yet 🤣

 

So much better value than the Seton ones which (despite also being pick proof) our students managed to peel off and place somewhere else 😮  Before changing to Avery we did give feedback to Seton's but they either didn't believe us, understand what we were saying or simply didn't care so we switched to Avery and have not looked back!!

Yep, we had lots of Seton labels completely removed, so Avery have worked better here.
