Error installing cumulative update

Good morning all,

 

I've just spent an hour checking all my servers are up to date, and have the following error on a small number of them:-

 

2025-10 Cumulative Update for Windows Server 2019 (1809) for x64-based Systems (KB5070883) - Error 0xd0000022

 

Has anyone had this issue, or have a resolution for it? (I've tried reboots, update trouble-shooter, different accounts, manually downloading from MS Catalog but still no joy)

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup

Unfortunately this made no difference.

1. Are you certain that there's nothing pending that requires a reboot first from the earlier October Cumulative Update.  

 

2. Unless you have the WSUS server role installed on the server, you don't "need" this one.
