Hi all,

I need to select a python IDE for use with GCSE and A Level (BTech Level 1/2).

We are a cloud based OneDrive site running windows 10.

What software/IDE does every one recommend?

PyCharm works pretty good

JetBrains told me this does not work well with OneDrive or AppLocker.

I have had nothing but problems with System Interpreter constantly breaking and needing to be set up.

We are now trying to push away from PyCharm since it requires constant attention from me during lessons to maintain functionality.

We Use Thonny in lessons

VS Code is what i use for work stuff

I personally use VS Code as my main IDE how ever the teaching staff dislike it because it is to complicated and prints the execution command to console when running the debugger.

I have tried to get them to try Thonny, I may push for it again since it did look quite nice. Question can this be used for multiple file projects?

I ask because whilst I am a hobbyist programmer the one language I do not touch is python.
