Chromebook googleworkspace management

Hello! 

 

Hope you are all well.

 

Going mad here. We want to get chromebooks but get google to manage them. I understand we need a license per device as we already have chromebooks but for the life of my I cannot find any suppliers - or they seem to be very expensive.

 

During the pandemic licenses were like £5  !!  This way you can enrol the devices onto google education  workspace.

 

Any ideas on suppliers?  LGfL don't do the licenses anymore.. the had the bridge offfer back in the day!

Lots of suppliers around...anywhere you get hardware can normally help. Licenses are now £29.

Getech or C-Learning - best price I've seen recently is £24 per licence if you're buying a decent quantity - remember that's for the lifetime of the device not an annual cost but it did go up a few years ago. Looking at previous orders I think we were paying £16.50 per licence in 2016.

As has already been said, lots of suppliers around. we have used @VeryPC for ours recently.

Think they are around £28 per device, for the lifetime of the device.

Yeh ya gotta buy Licences.  Worth it to tho have seamless isntant management.

 

They were never £5 as far as I an remember- they started off at about £18 and have gone up from there.

They were £18 in 2019 and they're now £29 in 2025.

Or £2.90 per year for a 10 year life of the device.
Which when you consider they've extended the life from 5 to 7 to 10 in that time, and added features like Class Tools etc, is pretty good value.

Looking at about 33 and 15 for a different site.

 

Which one was £24? if you don't mind me asking.

 

Is there a specific code I should be asking for?

We can only buy the one type of license in Education, which is the Chrome Education Upgrade (Perpetual). The SKU is 1010020026
