Casting from Teacher Chromebooks to Projector

Hi

 

We have a school looking at getting Chromebooks for teachers and Casting to Projectors, We currently have a few old Chromecasts and they work ok but will need to get more, as the small Chromecasts are now discontinued what are the best options, I have got a a j5Create JVAW76 and it seems to work ok and is affordable @ €75.

 

I have seen some people here recommend Vivi does anyone have an idea of the costs for that ?

Slightly.. a crazy idea!

 

Are you going to connect the chromebooks using hdmi?

We use a desktop pc to projector.

However we use airserver software to mirror ipads to the pc which they goes onto the board.

 

apparently with airserver and chromebooks... you can cast chrome tabs across to airserver! Not tried this yet.

Airserver can be downloaded with a 30 day trial..
