Sorry, Shared computer activation for Microsoft Office but we are activating per user, its Certiport causing the issue as it runs office as an admin who does not have a license, Device based would be an option to fix the issue, I have a call in with our distributor for pricing on per device as or OVS agreement is up soon Sean

Hey We have a school that use Google Workspace and use Office 2019 on desktops for Microsoft Office Specialist. This summer the plan was to remove Office 2019 and upgrade to M365 so the MOS exams are more relevant. There are only exams for 2019 and M365 not the other versions I synced the AD to Entra and got SSO working for M365 activation and all working well, except for Certiport, As the computers use Shared computer activation and SSO I have hit a problem, as our users are not local admins certiport has a local admin configured (this account is local to the pc) so when it launches it uses that admin to lock down the computer and run the exam. As office launches as the local admin user it is not signed into office and when I go to sign in sso kicks in and throws an error. I have been onto certiport we are going to see what we can do but wondering has anyone else had this issue ? Thanks Sean

What are people doing to run exams on Chrome Books Normally for exams we used windows laptops with word on them with no internet and students saved to a usb. The students are now using chrome books and looking for a way to replicate or a better option. One option might be docs offline and block internet with senso but wondering was there better options these are for in house exams I saw digiexam and trelson but not sure are they too complicated essentially we want a computer that can type and save to usb with no internet access Thanks Sean

Hi We have a school looking at getting Chromebooks for teachers and Casting to Projectors, We currently have a few old Chromecasts and they work ok but will need to get more, as the small Chromecasts are now discontinued what are the best options, I have got a a j5Create JVAW76 and it seems to work ok and is affordable @ €75. I have seen some people here recommend Vivi does anyone have an idea of the costs for that ? Thanks Sean

Hi Normally we supply teachers an i3 or i5 laptop and will not go lower spec. With all the zoom teaching teachers are looking for the surface / touchscreen laptops. Has anyone teachers using the surface go / tablets with pentium cpus and how do they find them speed wise. Hi I currently run ipcop using copplus but I am having some problems with students using https proxy sites to access facebook. I see the paid versions of censornet and smothwall can block them is there and opensource mod to deal with these ? Thanks Sean
