Change Google search defaults (to eliminate unwanted results)

I have found another suggestion (posting here because this does not fit in the "One Line" thread.

 

Edit your search engine settings as follows:

 

 

*The name and shortcut can be anything, but it's a good idea to make them easily identifiable for future reference.

 

Make this new setting the default.

These changes were made on a Chromebook. Other operating systems and browsers may require different steps. Not sure how to make similar changes for phone browsers, or even if it is possible?

With Netsweeper, you can modify a Google search query to add/edit any parameters you want at the fillter group Ievel.  I presume the same is true for other filters.
