ITGuyNW Posted May 12, 2025 Posted May 12, 2025 (edited) Hi all Just passing this along as I've just noticed it. Certain Teams phones are being migrated to Intune management and require some action to do so. It seems what you need to do is create a certain policy in Intune, and then once the appropriate firmware has been released for the phone, you will need to manually update (unless they automatically push it) and it should then appear in Intune. Some caveats seem to resolve around conditional access, which may require additional policies. https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/blog/microsoftteamssupport/moving-teams-android-devices-to-aosp-device-management/4140893 https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/MicrosoftTeams/rooms/android-migration-guide Step-by-Step AOSP Migration Guide for Teams Devices - Teams Rooms Masterclass - YouTube Anyone else encountering this? RobFuller Posted May 12, 2025 Posted May 12, 2025 I created the policy and updated some devices, seemed to have enrolled into Intune without too much fuss.
ITGuyNW Posted May 12, 2025 Author Posted May 12, 2025 Yeah the couple I have tried seemed to have upgraded without issue , phew.
