Anyone had any issues when upgrading to Maiden from leeds ?

I have complicated the matter by Building a fresh Hyper V vm , upgrading that to Maiden , and then transfering/exporting the settings from my VMware VM Leeds to Maiden.

The proxy via edge seems fine , My issue seems to be Programs ( such as cloud drive mapper V3 ) cannot use the proxy , Doesnt seem to use the logged on credentials to authenticate .

Where as the browser does ?

Cant seem to find out what the issue is , Wondering if something has changed in regards to the authentication we are using . But i read the "Prepare to Update" sheet and i think we are fine ?

Hi Tom ,

So the issue seems isolated to our "Cloud Mapper V3" , Other apps seem fine.

See the attached .

When using the Maiden proxy , i notice the following.

I believe the software uses the MSFTconnecttest url to check the connection

When i use our working Leeds proxy , the log looks like the following.

As you can see it goes in the "Unauthenticated IPs" group and displays the policys correctly.

I can browse to that site correctly via edge , Just seems to be when the computer calls the web address without using authentication.

Thanks

After migrating my settings , it seems "Authentication Exceptions" has changed to "Not Found" . Once i removed and readded "Authentication Exceptions" , Everything now works as expected.

This article helped out

I wouldnt nhave known to go there otherwise .
