Google Workspace

I'm trying to upgrade to Google Workspace for Edu Fundamentals & having a lot of trouble... Historically we have had a workspace setup with our main domain, and it looks like a trial had been started in the past & the "upgrade" to edu fundamentals was never completed.

 

When I now request for this upgrade using the upgrade request form, i get a response & they ask me to start a trial, however i'm unable to do this as we have already had one. They advise me to contact support however I'm unable to do this without a valid licence...

 

Anyone else had anything similar? I've been trying to explain this to the rep, but I'd be better off talking to a wall...! It looks like my only option is to buy a single licence to allow me to start the process

No-  just contacting google ourselves. Would you recommend either of those?
