CAM Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 My boss reckons other schools have access to Year 7 KS2 data on FFT at other schools. I log in to FFT Aspire and our Year 7 cohort is empty. Anyone have any idea how to gain access to the data or am I barking up the wrong tree again?
Seb1780 Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 You can add in your pupils via a SIMS report - click on the cog and follow the "Import Pupils" routine.

ICTLady Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 They actually removed the cog for the first week of term when everyone was trying to upload at the same time! It's back now. Slow though - start the upload then go away for at least a couple of hours while it works in the background.
CAM Posted September 30, 2016 Author Posted September 30, 2016 This upload routine is awful. I had to repeatedly try and upload the file and eventually the import just disappeared. Tried again, the import just goes "0 pupils for matching" right at the very end. I can't make them appear. :/
Seb1780 Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 @CAM - it can take quite a while to upload and there are three distinct parts. I just leave it for a day at a time, I log in each morning and read the message which takes me to the next part of the process. We have over 250 to import and it's taken all week to do it.
CAM Posted October 3, 2016 Author Posted October 3, 2016 It was the SIMS report. After transferring the data from the report output to the manual upload sheet, it uploaded successfully. Well, mostly. I had to play with date formats and 22 students are coming up unmatched. :/
