Elmer1 Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Can anyone point me to official documentation relating to who should/shouldn't be included in % attendance figures. If a student goes off roll SIMS reports still show them in the %age attendance reports up until their date of leaving so wondered where the guidance was that states this is how they should be handled. Any info greatly appreciated.
Seb1780 Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 In the RAISEOnline library there is a document called "Guide to Absence Statistics" which explains in section 2.3 that absence is measured at the enrolment level rather than at pupil level. In practice this means a pupil could be measured at more than one school and each school has to provide data for eveyrone who was ever on roll during the period. https://www.raiseonline.org/documentlibrary/ViewDocumentLibrary.aspx - in the "How Does Your Data Compare?" section
Elmer1 Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 That's great Seb1780 thanks for replying and pointing me in the right direction.
