Gatt Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 Today is a sad day.. After 15 long years, our Old Faithful, "Scruffy" has left for the "Great Kennel".. She had a tumor in her front left shoulder which had spread to her lungs.. at around 1pm this afternoon our local vets called round and ended her suffering. She has been Hayleys constant companion, and has been with her through some tough times.. Hayley is missing her so much as am I.. We took the attached pic just before she passed away.. We plan to name a star in the Andromeda Galaxy after her for she was our star and now she will always shine brightly now..
wizzard Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 It's a real shame when you loose a faithful companion after such a long time, always giving love unconditionally. 1

Sorry to hear about your loss, we lost our dog Jasper a year ago, he had been fine and we never noticed anything was wrong, the next day he seemed sluggish and unwell, we took him to the vets. Later in the day the vet phoned telling us that Jasper had died whilst under anaesthetic, it turned out that he was very unwell and had many tumors inside him, he never once showed it but he must of been in a lot of pain. At least he went peacefully in the end. I still miss him even now. I know its hard but if you ever need an ear, you can also send me a pm.
mark80 Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Sorry to hear of your loss Gatt but i think you and your missus made the right choice:(
