We recently asked Infinity AMI easytrace for them to migrate it with our current paxton Net2 system so we can manage access to the doors in the building for the students we are not using paxton readers for our door readers we are using a mixture of honeywell readers and HID readers.

What is happening when we print the ID cards from easytrace and it syncs across to paxton none of the ID cards will work on the doors the only way we we can get it to work is to delete the token from the student or staff in paxton which has been synched from easytrace and the reassign it with a token id that paxton assigns it does anyone know why this happening and has anyone else had an experience similar to this.

Also how is your integration setup between the systems as AMI have said this is not their issue it is somethin on the paxton on the system that is causing it not to recognize the token ID from easytrace. We are also using standard 1k mifare cards.

Any ideas or help to resolve this issue will be much apricated or who to speak to about this issue as we cant get support from neither paxton or ami regarding this issue as they are both are saying it is not their problem.

Thanks.

Wild guess would be how its encoding the token id before assigning it to the system? Does it assign the same ID number when you do it manually in the app compared to when AMI does it?

We had this exact thing happen about 2-3 weeks ago.

AFAIK: AMI were converting the cards incorrectly during the sync. A whole bunch of our staff got trapped in a section of our primary for around an hour lol. They were able to sort it pretty quickly once we told them.

The problem we're working through now is our Salamander + Paxton sync for our license plates and ANPR. It seems to break the plates already entered, but those manually entered work. Might be something to do with what AMI have done, but who knows!
