Looking at renewing our MS OVS licences and wondered if the FTE is still 200 hours and is that 200 hours of using a PC or just employed for 200 hours? What if we had 2 staff each working 100 hours, what that count as 1 FTE?

Thanks.

I'm pretty sure this FTE calculation is no longer used, its something like "Technology Worker" or anyone who has access to technology in the normal course of their day...

Hope they doesn't included just checking email as speaking from a primary school point of view most TAs would not use computers if it wasn't for checking email as management now insists on sending everything electronically.

FTE is no longer a thing, it's called EQU (Education Qualified Users) - https://support.oetc.org/hc/en-us/articles/360036019012-Microsoft-How-do-I-count-the-number-of-Education-Qualified-Users-EQU-at-my-institution

We don't include our TAs at Primary schools but we do at Secondary schools as we see TAs at primary schools not really needing a PC to do their job but at a Secondary school TAs are using PCs more to update records, etc.
