maxrebo Posted December 12, 2024 Posted December 12, 2024 When we run a Department printing report in PC, we have a "No Department" department (Users not assigned a department) - Is there any way to run a report in PC to find out which users haven't been assigned a Department or a report to list all users and their assigned department. thanks
Scifigirl Posted December 12, 2024 Posted December 12, 2024 Where does it get the department? If its AD, couldn't you just look there?
PotNoodleTech Posted December 12, 2024 Posted December 12, 2024 The department is just a text field in the user details of each user? Groups are usually where you would have active directory groups coming in, and Accounts are where you may manually manually create "Departments" for credit/settings/audit reasons"
smurfomatic Posted December 12, 2024 Posted December 12, 2024 If you run the "user list" report as a CSV, the Department is a column there so you will be able to sort/search as required. (had to do the above to find someone who was "finance" rather than "Finance" as it's case sensitive and was showing one user separately!) 2
